Morzine in Summer

Morzine is found in the Haute-Savoie region at the northern end of the French Alps. Conveniently only about an hour and 20 minutes drive from Geneva airport, making for an easy transfer, as well as being close enough to be able to enjoy the attractions of Lac Leman (lake Geneva), Evian and other nearby towns such as Annecy and Chamonix. The weather of the region is a healthy mix of Mediterranean influences during the summer and Arctic fronts through the winter, making it a suitable place all year round.

As the snow starts to recede and the mountains turn green, they take on an altogether different sort of beauty and open up for a whole range of activities, from the gentle to the extreme.
Morzine town has a long history going far back beyond its evolution to a popular tourist destination. This can be felt as you wander through town and come by clues and artefacts from a community that has survived through some of Frances most dramatic times. With attractions such as the slate mines or museum of mechanical music, you can get a feel of life in times far removed from our own.
Also having picturesque towns like Annecy and Evian within short drives from Morzine there is ample chance to take in more of what Haute-Savoir and this part of France has to offer.

However modern enjoyment of the mountains and the multitude of activities they provide has not passed Morzine by and it is a stunning place for all to enjoy the summer weather.

Summer in Morzine can be a much more relaxed affair than in winter, but with so many more choices of what to do; we need to be flexible in order to match the wishes of our guests. We can happily arrange for you any of the activities on offer and make sure you can get to where you need to be. We are also happy to take you further afield be it to play golf or visit one of the neighbouring towns, though we would have to make arrangements depending on the wishes of all our guests.
