VTT (Velo Tout Terrain) as it’s known in France is a massively popular activity in Morzine, with the Portes du Soleil being one of Europe’s main destinations as well as the worlds biggest. There is provision for bikers of all abilities and styles, linking 12 resorts offering 650km of signposted trails serviced by 24 lifts. There are 5 bike parks, dozens of downhill runs as well as trail circuits and biker cross. With such great facilities it’s no wonder the area attracts some great events such as the world cup and Saab-Salomon X-trail.
No matter at what time of the summer you come, there is always plenty of choice for anyone interested in getting on a bike. The trails and routes are very well signposted and graded.
If you wish we can arrange for you a guide on a full or half day basis and there are a number of MTB schools in town that offer lessons for all levels and disciplines.
At the chalet we have storage and cleaning facilities and are happy to ferry you and your bikes to the area you wish to ride and there are plenty of shops in town with a good selection of rental bikes for all styles of riding.
